ISB - Scope & Responsibilities

  • The ISB is the steering organ of our NMJ Association. Its executive board consists of the President, Vice-President, the Secretary and the Treasurer.
  • The International Steering Board (ISB) is constituted of the founding members and previous main chairs of the past NMJ conferences. The ISC possesses voting rights for steering the NMJ association and its NMJ conference series into the future.

ONC - Scope & Responsibilities

  • Increasing the visibility of NMJ through outreach activities, including social media, online events and announcements (e.g., the association website, LinkedIn, and other communication channels).
  • Strengthening scientific exchange by fostering networking opportunities and building connections with experts in the field of nano- and micro-joining technologies.
  • Support the ISB and Local Organizing Committees (LOC) in the organization of the NMJ conferences.

SAB - Scope & Responsibilities

  • The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is constituted of active international members of the NMJ community and may be approached by the ISB and Local Organizing Committee (LOC) to receive further suggestions for keynote and invited speakers for upcoming NMJ conferences. 
  • The SAB also proactively supports  in advertising upcoming NMJ Conferences in their local communities.
